I made one brief visit to Anaconda just off the North Expressway about 11 Thursday night. They seemed to be winding down. There were several cute girls around the doorway with smiles included and would have inquired had I not just been drained by the novia for three solid hours in a hostal in Las Olivos. It was just to expore for future but will check it out again.
I don't think this place sees many gringos wander in alone. I got a really nice smile form the cute bartender who liked having the gringo novelty there and I give them credit for having the coldest beer I found anywhere in Lima and at only 5 sol for a grande cerveza.
I am curious as to input from locals as to what the deal is here. Do they have rooms on site and what is the price ,etc.Thanks.
I had a bit of trouble getting a taxi and had to walk back out to the expressa. They wanted an outragoeus fare right at club of 45 or 50 sol to Miraflores.rbc100

The Anaconda consists in a bar for contacts and a neighboring Hotel for the action. You choose the girl you want, invite her a beer or not, arrange the price usually around S/.30.00 (US$ 9.50) for half an hour or around S/.60.00 for an hour including the room, and go with her to the hotel next door. There is no "salida" fee.

As for the Taxi, asking for a ride from there to Miraflores puts you in the "Rich Gringo Tourist" category. You might try to ask for a taxi to Lima Centro (Plaza 2 de Mayo, Plaza Union or Metro de Alfonso Ugarte) and from there take another Taxi to Miraflores.

Thanks for the info Homo Lo Gato. Sounds very reasonable and there were some cute girls there. Maybe next trip I will be good to give one a try. Good idea on taxi to El Centro. I did taxi through El Centro to and from mainly the tow places to visit somehwhere there and found taxi to be cheaper than paying fare all the way from Miraflores or Los Olivos to the outher.rbc100

RT here. Yes, Anaconda is very near Scarletts in Los Olivos.

We stopped by Anaconda two Saturdays ago, on our way to Scarlets. It's two different worlds; I like them both.

Admission was 2 Soles each. Bottles of Coca Cola were 4 Soles each, so we were in for 12 Soles before even sitting down.

At 11:00 pm on a Saturday, the place was pretty busy. There were only three open tables. They had upgraded since my first visit two years ago -- the floor was cement (not dirt), the bar had moved to the left as you entered, and the stage was a little further along on the left, near the bar.

Nothing was happening on stage, however, the music was blasting. There were about 30 girls lining the walls. Bearing in mind the market, I would not have balked at spending (limited) time with more than half of them. With one exception, none of them were beauty queens (that one girl was constantly working), but as I sad, many of them were more than presentable.

I felt no safety issues, but this really was in the hood, so it probably wouldn't be a good idea to show up there all drunk and rowdy. Also, if I was planning on going upstairs with a girl, it would be best to go to the club in a group of three, that way the one who is not getting laid isn't sitting there all by himself. Probably nothing would happen, but I would be just a bit uncomfortable sitting there alone, waiting.

Since we were headed to Scarlets next, this was just a recon mission. I didn't take a girl, but I would. I suspect that the hotel facilities aren't the greatest, but I can't imagine it being any more un-hygenic than, say, El Trocadero. So decide for yourself.

We hired a driver for the night (I have a regular guy). I gave him the name and phone number a couple of days in advance, and he got close, but still a little lost before getting there. I would not recommend just flagging a taxi in Miraflores and having him take you there.

The Anaconda is a good point. That I could find local women who make it easy for vips elsewhere. I remember Daniela, Karen.A that much memory is a woman Daniela very pretty good body and beautiful face and come back to this place.

Dear RT Gooch .... you really surprise me with your adventures in all kind of places , brothels, nigth clubs ... in my case I have never been neither in Anaconda nor La Estacion .... just because of safety issues .. but now I think it´s time to feel adrenaline rushing trough my veines ....
