Good morning guys. RT here.

From what I can gather in the main forums, Dancing Club is the best of the downtown clubs.

My Spanish isn't that great, but it looks like there is no cover, just a 5 Sol minimum. The action doesn't start until 11 pm or so, and they have on-site rooms. Please confirm, all of this.

What I can't find is a pricing structure for the chicas. Can someone fill me in on this.

I think that I read that the girls can't leave the club with you until 6 am? Is this true as well?

Also, what else should someone expect, going to the club the first time. My Spanish is ggod enough that I can talk the girls a bit -- at least enough to get the job done.

TONY: According to the reports there is no cover charge. Just pay for whatever you drink and for the services you request. Get a beer at S/.5. each. If you ask for a shot it is S/.10 (rum + coke) and you can touch the chick of your choice. Likewise, if you pay for the S/.20 drink you will be able to get a private room in the 4th Fl. Finally, the action starts not before 23:00 hrs....you are updated!

TONY: Seems to be that the situation is like you said. However, the chicks can get into business right after 06:00 hrs. You can easily arrange the details for extras just in front of the establishment without any problem. This seems to be ok with the owner.

I only had one chance to go to the Downtown clubs one time my first trip and an not fluent in Spainish but speak enough to get by. I visited Zafari anouther highly reveiwed club in downtown on the Spainsih forum as well as a couple of outhers in the same block.I didn't feel uncompfortable and had no problems.Drinks were cheap and girls were freindly .The only drawback was the hard sale on drinks for girls by the waiters.I would definitely revisit these places and will next trip. I ahve hobbied in the very local scene of San Jose Costa Rica as well which is also not a safe city and felt at least as safe in these places as there. From some of your reports I have read I expct you would do fine.I ahd a Taxi take me to the door of these places with adresses form the Spainsh forum and had no problem catching one at the door.rbc100

Friday was closed,when I go normally I invite to Grecia,Hillary is not left to touch,is very special.The Clubes Safari, Dancing, Tropical and Sirena belongs to the same owner.

Dancing is for people of middle class,Happy and cheerful people.The surroundings of place are dangerous,be careful.

I am interested in exploring the downtown clubs a little more when in Lima Oct. 12 to 18. I would welcome anyone who wants to join me who is in town. It looks like from my research some of the better ones are Dancing Club, Saffari, La Grata Azul II, Flamingo and Oasis. I am just curious for input on which ones would be recommended as I won't have time to cover all of them.rbc100

La Gruta Azul, Dancing, Flamingo and Palmeras would probably be the most representative and it is possible to visit all of them if you set appart one night just for downtown Lima. I think La Gruta Azul and Dancing would be a must, but, off course, in downtown Lima the night plays itself out and not always as planned.

I cannot go with you because in Lima I am strictly a daytime cat, but I'm sure someone will join you. Thanks for repy Lobo girls, I have bad news to report. Unfortunately I am having to cancel my trip at the last minute due to some personal develoments at home. I looks like I am going to have to move my trip up to late January due to outher plans between now and then. I hope to catch up with some people when I make it then.rbc100
