Bathrobes vs. Towels?

Good afternoon. RT here with a question for some of our veteran members...

Since I seem to fall into the 'very portly' category of late, I am having a hard time getting the towels provided in the BTs to fit around my waist.

Granted, there's an easy solution: Lose Weight, but in the meantime, can someone direct me to some local Banos Turcos that provide bathrobes instead of the standard towel? I remember getting one somewhere, but can't dig it out of my memory.

I would also settle for a place iwth big towels, but maybe that's too much to hope for. Thanks in advance.

It was the Emporio Spa in Chorrillos. We were there, once, with ComputerGuy. Remember? You asked for a robe and they gave you one.

Bad news is that the Emporio is waaay toooo faaar, besides it has not been receiving good reviews as of lately and, personally, I haven't been there in at least six months.

Hey, HLG -- what about the place in Miraflores off of Av. Ejerecito that closed, had all the girls move to Emporio, and then re-opened? Did they bring the bathrobes with them?

Reading the spanish forum now it seems I was wrong about the Ozono Spa (ex-Romano) the place in Miraflores you spoke about. The truth is that I never saw robes there but it seems that they give them to you on request.

Other places wher they give you robes (also on request) are Sauna La Marina, Royal Spa, Finnish Sauna and El Tambo. All this info comes from the spanish thread on this very same subject but I have not verified it myself.

RT here. In the Spanish forum, the guys recommended Ekas Spa, as a non-sex Banos Turcos that had bathrobes available. I just wanted to avail myself of the 'legitimate' offerings of a BT, so we went there.

Yes, they had bathrobes. No, they weren't large enough to get my arms in, much less wrap around my gut. So I'm still looking for a place with, ahem, large bathrobes.

As to the facilities at Ekas, I will start a separate thread.
