RT here. I was looking to just enjoy the 'spa' portion of a Banos Turcos, so I read the Spanish Forum and settled upon Ekas Spa.

This small BT is located in the back of a beauty salon. With two small exceptions, the setup is pretty much the same as everywhere else. The exceptions being:

a. There are (separate) facilites for both men and women
b. Sexual services are not offered.

We changed, steamed, saunaed, showered and rested for a while. One of the employees stopped by the steam room to ask if we wanted anything to eat or drink. We just requested sodas, but I'm pretty sure that they would have sent out to one of the restaurants on the street if we had asked for food.

Later, I set off to arrange the massages for me and my friend. They had two (older) women as the masseuses, and the massage rooms were in an area that was available to both male and female customers.

My massage was nothing short of excellent. This woman knew her stuff. When I explained where my 'hot spots' were, she worked all three of them, and then went on a lengthy explanation about my sciatic nerve. If my Spanish was better, I might be completely cured right now. I have no idea how long the massage was (I'm guessing around 45 minutes), and further, I have no idea how long she left me passed out on the massage table, but I finally came to, wandered back into the men's locker room, and found out that my friend had enjoyed a kick-ass massage as well.

I didn't get a receipt, but I think that the total cost (including tip for the masseuse and my soda) ran to 65 or 70 Soles.

This location is easy to get to. Even the most directionally-challenged cab driver should have no problem. After, we grabbed lunch in a local joint and wandered around this middle-class neighborhood, doing some shopping and people watching.
