I see some good reviews for this place on the Spainish forum but also for La Marina Spa which has been reviewed here before. They seem to be in the same price range. I am just cuirious as to how they compare in facilities and service. Thnaks.Rbc100

They are pretty much the same. I've been a few times in Mithos (though not lately) but not in La Marina Spa. From the forum reports I gather that La Marina is somewhat larger, has slightly better faccilities, and has more regular clients. Lately some Mithos' regulars have been complaining of a drop off in the quality of the services and the girls, but some La Marina's regulars are not fully satisfied either.

My guess is they are more or less the same. La Marina is larger and more complete, Mithos is smaller and more private.

The service at Mithos was excellent. It was a Sunday afternoon on my last day. There were only 5 chicas (12 during the week). It had a very local feel. The chicas did not act interested even though I tried at the bar. They chicas sit in a small area around the corner of the bar watching TV. Well I must act as leave Lima tonight and I am desperate. I walked in where they were sitting with my towel wrap, sat down in the middle of them and just started conspicuously looking at each one. It worked, they started to laugh, it was hilarious. Had I not been so desperate I would have probably not had the nerve. In any case if you go to one of these places try to take a wingman. You will be safe without one but it may be more comfortable with one. Everything including drinks came to about $80. I felt I paid abit of a gringo surcharge. Negotiate only in Soles clearly at the beginning. Of course if you speak fluent Spanish that is another matter.
