Maria Angola, chica friendly?

Hi everybody,

I’m looking for a discreet hotel located near the Parque Kennedy area, with suites furnished with Jacuzzi and prices ranging from 90 to 120 dollars. I know I could book for this prices at one hotel of the LasAmericas chain (probably the best bet), but from various posts I think that -maybe I’m wrong, never being in Lima- in these hotels you can find every type of guests. I’m not a shy guy, but I feel uneasy if bringing up a chica I can meet in the hotel lobby crowds of people or a whole family in vacation with their kids.
So, surfing in internet I found [Solo usuarios registrados pueden ver este link ] and to my tastes the “suite de lujo” look very nice, but I don’t know if the hotel is guest friendly.

Every input will be much appreciated.

RT here. I can't imagine that the Maria Angola is not chica-friendly, as [Solo usuarios registrados pueden ver este link ] would not have posted a review in the Spanish section if they gave him and his date a hard time.

Further, I applaud your wanting to be discreet. God knows that some of us flaunt our activities all over the place. But dude, their website advertises a convention center and meeting rooms -- you're still taking the same chance of parading a hooker through a family just getting back from Nasca that you would at many other hotels.

The problem, in a nutshell, is that it isn't just us mongers who like nice hotels.

Perhaps one of our bi-lingual friends could call the hotel (213-9999) and ask them what their policy would be if a guest brings back a female one friend one evening.

Yes is true, it has a convention centre and a meeting room … I didn’t notice that

RT here again. You will be taking that chance just about anywhere nice that you stay, so the Maria Angola may be a fine choice.

It it makes you feel any better, the girls from the top-end clubs change out of their hooker clothes before leaving the workplace, and the Tequila Rock chicas are usually publicly presentable. Besides, you wouldn't be bringing girls from those places home until after midnight, when the kids are in bed and the conventions are finished.

The suite at the MA looks nice. Please report back on their rooms (if you stay there), or on wherever you wind up staying.
