I woke up around 930 feeling kinda slow..not sick or anything..I just did not feel good..

I went outside on my balcony that overlooked the pool and had some juice I bought the day before..no more $11.50 breakfast for me..I noticed the massage girl arriving for work..I walked down to the gym and asked about a massage..

they said yes to an 11am appoinment and the price was 30 bucks..I gave them 40 and said I would be back for the change...at 11 I went to get the change and thay had givin it to the massage girl..the massage girl was very friendly and even spoke some english but I was not in a talktive mood...about 3 months ago I pinched a nerve in my neck that has caused pain in my shoulder and my finger and thumb to be kinda numb..although a happy ending would have been welcomed I did not recieve or ask for one..this was a professional massage..

at 1pm I am in the lobby waiting on maria to show up for the zoo..well by 130 no maria...oh well..I am not surprised

I think to myself..maria is a typical hooker..she has made 250 bucks in 2 days..she can retire now!!

at 130 I get a cab to take me to the quito zoo...cab fair is $40 bucks round trip..I did not realize it was that much..

but hell I went anyway..it was a nice ride there and the cab driver was very freindly..he said he used to be the driver for the canadian ambassador to ecudor..I was kinda srurpised I could understand his spanish so well..

he also told me the us dollar is good for him but the sucre was better for the poor people..it was a nice ride through the city and to a town called guyabunba or something like that..it was about 45 minute ride each way

I was pleasently surprised with the quito zoo...it was very clean and well kept..although I expected to see more exotic south american animals..it took about an hour to walk the entire zoo..I bought a ball cap that says quito zoo..

if anyone reading this trip report sees a guy in miami wearing a quito zoo cap he will then know who wrote this report...

on the way back the cab driver stops and buys some fruit from a roadside vendor..I cannot remeber the name of the fruit but it was delicious and he got a whole bag for a buck..the fruits in this country are wonderful..

I get back to my hotel at about 6 and am still feeling kinda slow..so I decide to rest till tonight.I was in a sound sound sleep and the phone wakes me up..it was maria...I told her to come on up...she has some lame excuse about her sister being sick..lol..every hooker has a sick sister kid or mother!!

she just sat and waited while I woke up..after about 30 minutes I showered and we went down to a part of town silimar to pizza ally in lima..but sans hookers...we found a pizza place and had a pie..it was really good pizza..

about 1030 we head back to the hotel...only one shot on goal this night..I gave her a $100 and told her if she wanted to go to the teiferiqo with me tommorrow to be here at 12...and I told her we would stop and I would buy her a leather jacket..a nice leather jacket in south america is about 50 bucks...she needed one..I wanted to buy her a gift since she has been such a good girl..she said yes she would be at hotel at 12
