INTRODUCTION

Well, the last six months haven’t been all that great for me. Friends and family members have been dropping like flies – I’ve been to enough funerals lately to make my quota for the rest of my life.

And work hasn’t been a walk in the park either. The only upside has been the fact that my Santo Domingo assignment is over, and that’s been offset by the general economic downturn and the related stress in the office.

In short – I needed a break. My January trip got canceled due to my dad’s illness, and this long weekend is my replacement. So, in the words of that great sage, Elmer Fudd: West and wewaxation at wast, hehhehhehheh!

This trip report covers 10-15 April. I’m back in my stomping grounds in Lima, and – other than a dinner date with a local friend and a New York Dolls concert Sunday night (!), I’ve planned nothing but screwing, gambling and fine dining for the next five days. Granted, that’s most of my trips, but I’m hoping to really enjoy myself this time.


THURSDAY, 10 APRIL, 2008

I found a ridiculously cheap round trip fare from Miami on Travelocity via Copa ($340.30). Even though I fly out of Florida, I prefer the Copa routes, despite having to change in Panama. The trip takes a little longer, but you arrive in Lima in the afternoon, and get to go home in the afternoon as well. It gives me an extra half day at both ends of the trip.

The plane left Panama a little late, but I was out of immigration and customs and in a taxi by 4:00, and pulling in front of the Radisson in Miraflores at 4:30.

My usual base of operations is the Inkari in San Isidro, but their $40 room has gone up to $55, so I did some searching. Until this March, there was no Radisson presence in Lima, but there are now two – one in San Isidro and the other in Miraflores. It’s a bit pricey, but I had some Radisson points in my account, and am staying one night free, and the other four at $69. I’m hoping that it has all the modern conveniences, and proves to be a bargain at $280 for the 5 nights. It’s located not far from the corner of Av. Larco and 28 de Julio, so it’s right in the middle of the action.

We pull up, and I recognize the building as a hotel that has been closed for all of my previous visits. They cleaned the place out, spruced it up, and hired a million employees in Radisson shirts to help you. Two guys unloaded my two bags from the taxi, one guy opened the door for me, and four really cheery people checked me in at the front desk.

The room was pretty standard, although it did sport a 31” flat screen TV. Although there was a desk (and they gave me a cable for the internet connection), there was nowhere to put anything. The desk wasn’t all that big, there was no real dresser to speak of, and the mini-dresser that was there (half mini bar and just two drawers) had the TV on it. If you’ve got a flat screen, hang it on the wall, damn it. There were absolutely no flat surfaces available one I set up my computer. And to make it worse, the two side tables did not have drawers, either, so there was no handy condom/lube spot. The AC was good and quiet and the room was clean, so I figured that I would make do.


I was shaved, cleaned, and had changed my clothes by 5:15, and I was on my way to Relax y Vida, where the lovin’ never stops.

Relax y Vida (for the uninitiated) is a ‘chain’ of Banos Turcos/Spas/Massage Parlors. But to leave it at that would be an unfair description. The girls are universally young (almost all in the 19- to 24-year-old range), and are extremely well trained to make their customer feel as special as can be. I like to describe the treatment as similar to what you would receive if you just returned home from the war, and your girlfriend has been waiting patiently for you the entire time.

They sport three different locations, and for your 60 to 80 Soles (depending on location), you get an hour that consists of a massage, sauna, blowjob, exfoliation treatment and all-around kingly treatment, peppered with tons of kisses and the murmurings of sweet nothings throughout. Officially, there is no full-service sex offered in any of their facilities (the blowjob and/or handjob) is included with your ‘voluntary’ 50 Sol tip, but the girls have been known to break the rules on occasion. When I visit, I pretty much let the girl dictate the session. After more than two dozen visits over the years, I have never left disappointed

I arrive at Relax y Vida #2 on Av. Nicolas Arriola at 6:00 pm. This spot opens at 5:30, and there were three girls in the waiting area, with one already in session. Two were new to me, but the lovely Anita was there as well. The mamasan was new to me, too. She asked me if it was my first time, and Anita spoke up to say that I was a regular from the USA, but that I hadn’t been there in a few months. The mamasan welcomed me back, had one of the girls bring me a drink, and I chatted with the three of them for a few minutes.

Finally, I decided that I had a good time with Anita previously, so I told her to go get our room ready. They confirmed that I wanted an hour with the sauna (there are shorter and cheaper options), and Anita went and did whatever these girls do to get ready. She came and got me five minutes later.

One of the bonuses of choosing Anita is that she actually attended massage school. She spent a good while getting me undressed, kissing me, laying me on the table, and working a LOT of the kinks out of my right shoulder. I was pretty much ecstatic with that alone. She then suggested that we move into the sauna.

We change locations and get situated. The combination of Eucalyptus and steam allows me to breathe deeply for the first time in ages. Anita breaks out a condom, rolls it on, and proceeds with an excellent blowjob.

After a while, she stops, reminds me that in our last session we stayed in the massage room all the whole time (the house can monitor the goings-on in the massage rooms, but not the sauna rooms), and suggested that we could take our relationship a step further, if I wanted to. Descretion (and the house rules at Relax y Vida) preclude me from going into further detail.

Afterwards, we sat around a bit, Anita did her exfoliation treatment, hosed me down, and we headed back into the massage room to get dressed. She let me take a few pictures of her during the clean-up process.

I wound up tipping Anita 100 Soles (she did not name a price when suggesting the upgrade), paid the house fee of 60 Soles, kissed the girls good-bye (there were two others when I left), and left with a smile on my face. I can’t think of a better way to spend sixty bucks.

There’s a supermarket right by Relax Y Vida. I stopped in and bought some beverages and snacks for the room. Chocolate bars are US$5 in the minibar, so I felt that it was a good investment. I headed back to the hotel to clean up, and decide on my plans for the rest of the night.

First, I called Ariana. She’s a girl I met through her ad on the web about a year ago. We had a good date, and another good one a couple of months later. We’ve exchanged emails (she even wrote to ask about my father’s health) and I wanted to see her this trip, so I left a message on her voicemail.

One of my local friends had given me a Lima dining guide, and I was slowly working my way through it. A place in Barranco caught my eye, so I jotted down the address and took the 5 Sol ride to Barranco.

The streets in Lima are fairly easy to navigate, with the numbering system making a lot of sense. So imagine my surprise when I got to where the restaurant was supposed to be on San Martin and… nothing.

Undaunted, I wandered around Barranco looking for a seemingly good spot. All of a sudden, I was walking over a bridge with a road and park below me. To the left were a bunch of cars and a busy-looking restaurant.

Just what Lima needs – another great place to eat. Chala features ‘costa fusion’ dining, whatever the hell that is. But the food there was excellent. I ordered the chicken croquettes as an appetizer and the tuna for my main dish. The croquettes were unlike any I’ve tasted, and the tuna was delicious.



During dinner, Ariana called. She was glad to hear from me, sad to hear about my dad, and happy to meet me tomorrow night at 9:00 at my hotel. Great, now I had plans for Friday. I passed on dessert and coffee. The tab, including tip, came to 85 Soles.

It was still early, so I cabbed to the Marriott. All of the lower-priced blackjack tables were full, so I went across the street to Casino Miraflores. I wasn’t feeling it there, so I took a one Sol bus ride to the Parque Central area. I walked past Tequila Rock. It was still closed, but there were two guys there giving out free passes to their club in San Isidro. That club is smaller, but it still boasts a number of free-lancers, so it was good enough for me. I took a taxi to Tequila Rock San Isidro.

Sometimes I just don’t get it. Here’s a business that was on the top of the world. They got their cash cow shut down, and they’re looking to get as much out of their farm as possible. They had a ready and willing customer – one who was willing to spring for a taxi from their original spot. One who had a ‘free admission’ card in his hand – and the goons at the door tell him, “20 Soles, please.”

On the average, I drop US$25-$50 on a visit to TR, between sodas for me, tips and drinks for the girls. Here was this guy making a big deal over $7. I showed him where the card said free admission. He told me that was very nice, now give him 20 Soles. I wasn’t doing it. I will be back, but I was not allowing myself to be hustled this night.

I walked the block to Golden Palace Casino, where I wound up winning just a few dollars, enough to pay for my taxi to Emanuelle.

Emmanuelle is arguably one of the top three or four high-end nightclubs in the city. Everything’s expensive: admission, drinks, the girls. But the beauty level is way high, and I’ve had a couple of good sessions with girls I’ve left with from the club.

I entered at around 12:45, shook off the waiters, and grabbed the last seat at the bar. There had to be about 40-50 girls working, very few of them lower than a 7, most in the strong 8 category. There were maybe the same amount of customers, maybe less. It appeared that there were more girls than guys there. Every third song or so, one of the girls would get announced, and writhe to some song or another, winding up nude by the end of the song. It seemed that the silicone/natural ratio was around 40%.

I was being pretty picky, passing on a couple of girls’ advances, until this one short girl with the cutest butt walked by. I remained in a trance until she paraded by me again. I got Lucia’s attention and had he join me. After about two minutes of fondling, I was hooked. I bough Lucia a drink, and she proceeded to drink it while squirming in my lap and making believe that I was the man she was always waiting for. That’s pretty much S.O.P. there – you get plenty of attention for your overpriced drink.

Lucia agrees to leave with me (the standard price is US$100 for two hours to the girl, plus around $50 to the house). The price of the girls’ drinks are deducted from the salida, so drinks for the girl that you leave with are more or less free.

We get back to the hotel, and the front desk tells me that there is a 90 Sol ‘guest fee’. This is outrageous, especially for Lima, the most girl-friendly place on earth. I agree to pay it, but I’m not happy.

Lucia agreed to some photos, so we shot a few before the clothes came off. It’s a shame, because she has a smoking body, and these pictures do not do her justice.



Once naked, I got to further enjoy Lucia’s body. It turns out that she was slightly enhanced up top, but it was a good job and I had no complaints. Lucia was willing to do whatever I wanted, but didn’t take much initiative and was clearly just doing her job. Luckily, she was good at her job, so I put any issues aside and enjoyed the ride. I cleaned up, did some photo maintenance, and screwed around on the internet until I fell asleep at 3:40 in the morning. I have stuff to do in the daytime, but I plan to include looking for a new hotel to move to on Saturday. That $30 is ridiculous.
