| Cultural Difference -- Good to know!
RT here. Just a heads up:
When you get ice cream here in Lima, and they offer 'fudge', don't be disappointed when it just has plain old chocolate syrup on it -- that's what they call fudge.
I was expecting hot fudge, and it took me a good 10 seconds to get over my disappointment.
This was bad, but not as bad as when I was six years old, and I bit into a chocolate chip cookie, only to discover that the chocolate chips were raisins and the cookie was full of oatmeal. I was so crushed, I wound up having to take the first grade a second time. |
