I wanted to post this review for quite some time. Punto de fuego is one of those rare gems in Peru gastronomy, I have meet Jorge- the cheff through a mutual aquiantance, So i decided to pay him a visit ... Here is what
it went down....

You come here is you like Lomo saltado, so it is that style of food...
One unique aspect of this restaurant is that you get to see how the chef is cooking as he is conveniently located @ the second floor in the mezanine. The chef Jorge- is a caracter of his own, he has been cooking all over the world you see pictures of him with Shaq, several presidents, and celebrities from all over the world. The day I was there he came down sat with us, chatted for about 10 minutes. He is pasionate about cooking and Im sure I he will be quite popular in time....
I had the house ceviche - IT IS NOT COLD so it has a twist to it. I would not describe it so you guys give it a try. The lomo saltado is a must do here - meat was very tender and fries where real good.
The average dish is 40 soles, so it offers quite a good deal.
