LAN: $499 Mia-Lim - Buy through Feb 18

LAN has the Miami-Lima route on sale for $499 including taxes, if you purchase through February 18.

There are some blackout dates (can't go from middle of June to middle of August), but it is good through November 13.

Ahh... that's the $800 question.

I have no idea. I subscribe to Lan, Copa, Taca and AA for their email specials.

But mostly, I just check prices every few days. When I get a number I like, I go for it.

I paid $548 for my ticket for my May trip back in September. I was all proud of myself until one of my friends said, "Hey! I want to go with you! How much are the flights?" We went and looked, and his tickets were $509 for the same itinerary. He bought his in December. I just checked, and it is currently $628.

So who knows?

 

I find that the highest prices are December and July.
