‎18 Years of Service‎
I stopped in at the Park Suites in Barranco, just at the end of the via expresa, on the border with Miraflores. http://www.hotelparksuites.com/pag/en/bienvenido.phphttp://www.hotelparksuites.com/pag/en/bienvenido.php
I used a room for a couple of hours, but didn’t stay overnight.

They take cash, credit, or ATM. They also apparently have wireless throughout, but I didn’t have my laptop and since I was concentrating on the girl I was with, I didn’t check if my iphone was picking up the signal. I didn’t check the website until just now either and the reality is completely different. Calling it a “luxurious” hotel is more than a stretch. I’d classify it just above a hostel.

Pros - it was clean and quiet, flat screen TV, air, hot water, etc.
Cons - expensive for a hotel of this class, I paid S/250 for 2 hours, for a junior or basic room the size of a shoe box. It’s also a bit isolated and a few blocks from any street that taxi’s frequent.

Thanks for the info. I'm sorry it didn't work out.

I've seen their website and driven past it many times, so I was curious.

Do you know if the rate you paid was a 24-hour price, or for a short stay? Either way, it doesn't seem like a great value for a small room.

Again, thanks for taking one for the team.

even though I had a shy, young secretary-type, blushing furiously and hiding behind my arm, thus my room needs were obvious, I still pointed out the fact that I 0nly wanted the room for two hours. and this was in the late morning. The clerk held fast at S/250, which I'm pretty sure is the 24-hour rate.
