25 Peruvian Slang Phrases

Living In Peru is an excellent English website that covers many different aspects of the Peruvian experience. We probably have nothing to worry about here at PeruTops... there's not much mention of P4P girls, but they seem to discuss just about everything else.

Today, they outline what they call the Top 25 Peruvian slang expressions that one would need to know.

I'm not sure if they're the 25 best ones, but they're pretty good. I would like to hear the thoughts of some of our Peruvian foristas as to the usefulness of this list.

one addition: "pata" usually means a male friend, "bud" "mate" etc. I haven't heard it used so much for legs (the original meaning is hoof or paw).

Exactly the real meaning of "pata" is paw, leg is "pierna" in spanish.

Some other peruvian words or phrases could include:

* "yucas" or "yucazas": to express that a girl has really beutiful (or strong) legs. its literal english translation would be yucca.

* "rabazo": huge ass on a girl, the literal meaining is "big tail".

* "papa", "papita", "concha", "raja", etc: literal meaning vagina, it doesnt needs to be explained more than that.
