Casinos With Table Games

Good evening. RT here.

Yes, there seems to be a casino on every corner in Lima. But sadly, many of them are slot-machine 0nly and don't offer popular table games such as roulette and blackjack.

The good news is that the number of casinos with table games seems to be growing. Just last week, I discovered another casino with tables in San Miguel. Hopefully there are many more that I don't know about!

Here's a list of casinos with tables that I know of. Please feel free to add to this list with any others. Thanks!

And remember table games don't start until 6pm (some law).

If your planning on going stick to the casinos in Miraflores if your staying in Miraflores - the evening peak is a nightmare - from about 4pm - 9pm. I stopped even going to Golden Palace in San Isidro as it was taking me 45mins to an hour to go a few kms.

FYI: Craps tables are 0nly at Golden Palace, Mariott (both open at 6pm), and Atlantic city (opens about 10pm). BJ, Roulette and Holdem (vs the house) can be found everywhere - for your own table for BJ ($25 min) the best place to go is the VIP room in Atlantic City.

I don't know if they have always had tables, but I saw a sign during the day yesterday and swung by last night.

The tables are on the second floor... blackjack, caribbean poker, roulette and one or two others. No craps. All wagers were in Soles, but I saw a saw a sign that said that bets in dollars were on the way, but I don't know if they will be on the slots or at the tables.

The drink girls were glamorously dressed, with plenty of cleavage to enjoy between losing bets.

On another message board, someone asked for a rundown of casinos with table games. He wanted to know which were the 'best', and was also looking for 3-card poker. Here's what I told him:

Miraflores

• Fiesta - Big & Shiny - Blackjack, Roulette, Caribbean Poker. Separate area for Poker. Sports Book. If you gamble enough, they will bring you whatever you want to eat. Bets in Dollars & Soles.
• Atlantic City - Bigger, Shinier - Craps, Blackjack, Roulette, Caribbean Poker. Separate area for Poker. Sports Book. Good cappuccinos; so-so food. Quite often (but not always) smoking hot drink girls. Bets in Dollars & Soles.
• Hacienda - Small, not so Shiny - Blackjack, Roulette, Caribbean Poker, Mini-Baccarat. Finger food, meals on their schedule. Shortest skirts in Lima on the drink girls. Friendliest staff. Bets in Soles.
• Marriott - Medium-sized & Shiny - Blackjack, Roulette, Caribbean Poker, Craps (the table comes & goes). Poker on site. Not very exciting food offerings, but the drink girls show a lot of cleavage. Bets in Dollars & Soles. I find them to have the least friendly staff.

Lince

• Fortuna - Old & not-so-shiny - Blackjack, Roulette, Caribbean Poker, and (maybe) Craps. There's a poker area. Don't go there for the food, or to look at the drink girls. You'll be the 0nly English-speaker in the place. Bets in Soles.

San Isidro

• Hotel Los Delfines - Older, but well-kept - Table games on the lower levels. Blackjack, Roulette, Caribbean Poker, Mini-Baccarat. Nicest food offerings without having to be a high-roller. Good buffet at midnight, and the friendliest drink girls in Lima. They're all girl next door-types, but well dressed and pretty. Bets in Dollars 0nly at the tables (it **may** have changed lately, but I'm not certain). I don't often have much luck here, but I like the place.
• Golden Palace - Huge. Very Shiny - the entire second floor is table games and a restaurant. Blackjack, Roulette, Caribbean Poker, craps, (maybe) mini-Baccarat. There are a LOT of tables, so if anywhere has Three-Card Poker, this is the place. Drink girls just OK. They have a fine selection of light dining, and - like the Hacienda - they serve meals on a schedule that 0nly they know. Same ownership as the Hacienda, but separate loyalty club cards. Bets in Dollars 0nly at the tables.

San Miguel

• Casino Miami - Smaller, and not all that Shiny - Same owners as the Marriott, but this is a locals' joint, and much more laid back. Blackjack, Roulette, and some other tables. Bets in Soles. Drink girls just so-so; I don't think I've ever had more than a sandwich there. Two of the last three times, some random Peruvian guy wanted to practice his English with me, so I changed tables.

Lima Centro

• Sheraton - Never been there.

Magdelena

• New York Casino - Big, Shiny - Blackjack, Roulette, Some kind of wacky (almost, but not quite, Caribbean) Poker, and Texas Hold-Em against a dealer. Regular poker goes on there, too. There are a lot of tables there, so they may have other games as well. Bets in Dollars & Soles. Some of the dealers, and many of the drink girls show a lot of cleavage. The band (on the weekends) is on the same level as the tables, so it gets kind of noisy. I have 0nly eaten sandwiches there.

Which are the best? That's subjective. It is nice that there are four in Miraflores, all in walking distance of each other.

My favorites (in no particular order) are:

Fiesta
Hacienda
New York
Los Delphines

For betting sports, I prefer Atlantic City, although the Fiesta has a movie screen-sized HD setup for the big games that is REALLY nice.

That's an interesting question, and one that I haven't really considered.

I rated the casinos as 'fun' places for me -- not necessarily girl-related, other than as eye candy.

I wouldn't say that it never happens (I am facebook friends with both a dealer and a drink girl at a casino), but I think -- if you are looking for paid dates with casino employees -- you would be better off in the smaller, slot-machine 0nly casinos. Those girls make less money than the ones in, say, Atlantic City, and might be open to some suggestions.

If you are talking about hooking up with other gamblers, well, I guess that would be possible in any of the larger places. But the girls that gamble in the casinos and the ones that I want to go to bed with are very different types of females. Diablito So I really never gave it much thought.

But yes, I believe that the drink girls in the smaller places could certainly be won over by a charming gringo, and the idea of meeting after her shift for a drink and whatever would certainly not be out of the question.

Yes indeed my friend Nemesis,but instead of "is " i would say "was",simply because i disagree with that,personally i like that casino but is not fun anymore like the casino "Fiesta",which is located in the corner of Benavides av. and Alcanfores st. ,this in Miraflores.

I used to gamble in Golden,but time has changed,new casinos were built and brought very modern architecture and more fun as well. Golden is a temple among gamblers,but it stuck in time,I am pretty sure that chinese people own that business,they should bring ideas and make it more fun,to bring new generation of gamblers,you can see 0nly mature and old people go there usually,but no young people(i mean 20- 35).

Anyway,if you wish to fish some girls Golden is not the best to do this achievement,just compare with casinos in miraflores and you will see the hotty and horny girls that go ........

Can anyone shed light about craps at the Casino Fortuna in Lince?

Is it a soles casino? What are minimum bets?

The one thing I love about gambling in Lima is that it is like Las Vegas for the low bettor. It is so quiet you can play 1 on 1 blackjack with the dealer on a $2 or S/5 table, or a roulette table by your self or shared by one other - and be offered food and drinks to keep staying.

The reason is I like playing craps, all night even. I don't expect to make much, I like trialing systems and stuff. And losing S/200 for 6 hours playing hurts way less than losing $200 lol

Somebody told me that the Sheraton does NOT have a casino, much less table games. They used to, my source says, but not any longer.

Can anyone confirm or deny this?

If you look at their web page Sheraton Lima Hotel & Convention Center - Actividades
they do not mention casino.

I was there couple of weeks ago and I recall not seing a casino in the first floor
I call them tomorrow ....

I play texas hold em in Miami Casino. Its not than expensive and theres a really good level of players.

Also you can really win some money there if you play good. Its really a good choice.
