LAN flight from California

Tried to make a reservation yesterday for a flight Los Angeles-Lima in late September.

I will NEVER figure out airline ticket pricing.

Yesterday American had flights for around $1200, with a change of planes in either Dallas or Miami, and a long layover. Other airlines had flights for less, but with more stops/change of planes/longer layovers

Yesterday LAN had two different LAX/LIM fights for $698 roundtrip, direct. I decided to wait until today to check some of the other websites.

Today American had the LAN direct flight (with American numbers) for $766.

But -- today LAN had the exact same flight that I had looked at yesterday for $548-- $150 less than yesterday!!!! Immediately booked it. Looking forward to two weeks of work with a couple of free days at the start and end

thats crazy pricing man but to be able to get those low prices you have to be ready and able anyday, any time....if you have that kind of job I envy you brother.

Great catch! Like Juan says, you have to be able to go *whenever*, but -- for me -- it's like I have to be there for any specific time, so I try to schedule around sales.
