I heard about this place from non-Peruvian some time ago and finally had a chance to check it out.

My date and I went to the Lunch buffet on Saturday (Peruvian food with other international dishes). We sat on the terrace and enjoyed the view of the ocean. At 1:00 pm the place was not crowded. It’s a good place to impress your date. I will definitely go again.

The food and service were very good. The price for two buffets and a few non-alcoholic drinks came to $46.

A few weeks ago I went back to Mangos for their lunch buffet and this time I was dissapointed. The service was fine, but the food was just bland and tasteless. I don't know what happened from my last visit. I was mad when I got the bill for almost $50 (two persons). Save your time and $ and avoid this tourist trap.

Update

I took my date to Mango's Lonche buffet (5pm - 8pm, 39 Soles) and we both loved the variety, quality and tastiness of the items offered. And the service was impeccable. We were both impressed and are going back for their breakfast buffet (Sat and Sun 0nly) and lunch buffet (daily). Also, the view is great with paragliders gliding right above you.
