If you ask me, there's nothing like the smell of a sauna while you're checking into your room (OK, there are some things that are better, but you get the point). And that's just what I encountered when I checked into the Inkari Suites last week.

I wound up spending a couple of hours in the Banos Turcos on my second day there. The entrance is just to the right of the hotel elevators. The facilities are in excellent shape; the pool, the Jacuzzi, both the wet and dry rooms, the gym, and the rest area were all in very well-kept condition.

There's a very nice 'terrace' area next to the pool for sitting around and shooting the bull with your friends. The hotel has a full bar and restaurant, so you can eat or drink anything that you'd like (the frozen lemonade was delicious).

There's a large-screen TV in the rest area, an a small gym setup as well. The massages are up on the second floor. I did not partake, so I can not speak to the price structure. The afternoon I was there, I saw three different girls, all in their early 20s, all massage girl/hooker looking, and all three fell into the acceptable range, with none of them striking me as outstanding.

There was 0nly one other customer during my two-hour visit, and the next day, when I showed my friend the facilities, there were 0nly two customers then as well.

I did not ask about their operating hours; maybe someone local can give them a call and post the answer.

I was not charged for my visit to the Spa; I assume that the facilities are free for hotel guests. My friend asked at the front desk and was quoted a price of 40 soles for visitors.

As a Banos Turcos, I can recommend the Banos Turcos Inkari Spa. Hell, they will even wash your car for free while you are at the Spa. As a P4P establishment, if there aren't many customers, there won't be quality girls there for long, so just go there with an open mind and a willingness to walk if the girls don't meet your hopes and expectations.

Hello,

How does this place work? I went in found no one there, was just empty. Also where are the girls? I moved in just now and I can't figure out what goes on there....

ok, I found out that massages are not available here any longer. I think they want to clean up their image. The sauna facilities are great though

Can anyone verify whether the banos turkos is staffed by females? I am thinking of spending a few nights here, but I won't be alone .... So I need to know if the hotel is "couple-safe" *sigh* I can't believe I just used that term in reference to myself...

RT here.

Well, the spa at the Inkari may or may not be 'womanned' by masajistas, but unless your other half is OK with seeing guys parade back and forth through the lobby with hookers at any hour of the day or night, this might not be your ideal location.

Me, I love watching the girls come and go while sitting at the bar, but I'm not sitting there with my girlfriend while she wonders why I picked that place.

:) good to know. Thanks, RT.
