Yes... 2.94! That's the highest I've gotten in many years. Good for people with Dollars; Bad (I guess) for the local economy.

1. It will be interesting to see what the price at the Cambio stores is on Monday. 2.88 to 2.94 (2%) is a large swing. Usually the Hacienda is 0nly a tad behind the Fiesta.
2. If the Dollar stays strong, prices will go up here eventually. The problem that I've found is that when the Sol bounces back, the prices don't go back down.

EDIT TO ADD: Just paid for some stuff at the Metro Supermarket on Benavides and received 2.95 Soles for my Dollars.
