Miraflores

Freiheit, Lima 471, in front of Parque Kennedy (tel. 01/247-4630), is a warmly decorated bar, in the style of a German tavern. The dance floor is separate from the bar area. There's a drink minimum on weekends.

O'Murphy's Irish Pub, Shell 627 (tel. 01/242-1212), is a longtime favorite drinking hole with a small menu of pub grub. Of course, expect a pool table, darts, Guinness on tap, and Brits and Irishmen hoisting it. They also host live music on Thursday.

Son de Cuba, Bulevar San Ramón 277 (tel. 01/445-1444), is on the pedestrian street called "Little Italy" by locals, but the club focuses on Caribbean rhythms and drinks Tuesday through Sunday.

Barranco
The area past the Puente de los Suspiros in Barranco has some of the coolest watering holes in Lima. Check out La Posada del Mirador, Pasaje La Ermita 104 (tel. 01/477-1120) and Nuevo Acantilado de Barranco, Pasaje La Ermita 102 (tel. 01/247-2145). Both occupy old houses overlooking the ocean and have spectacular verdant settings with indoor and outdoor garden seating. A trendy bar drawing a younger crowd is Amnesia, Bulevar Sánchez Carrión 153, just off the municipal square (tel. 01/477-9577). It's open 0nly Thursday through Saturday.

Lima Centro
There are two excellent pubs downtown owned by the same folks. One is Rincón Cervecero, a German-style bierhall, at Jr. de la Unión 1045 (tel. 01/428-1422). The other, Estadio Fútbol Club, Av. Nicolás de Peérola 926 (tel. 01/428-8866), is strictly for fútbol fans: It's a three-level bar (and disco on weekends) that amounts to a museum of the sport, and with dozens of big-screen TVs, it can get pretty rowdy when a big Peruvian or international game is on.

the girls are so friendly with you........... but dont think that its a night club... you can invite the girl outside 0nly if she meets you very well. There is no sexual business there.

What about the prices?
Affordable or damn expensive?

I remember one coffeee shop of this sort located in San Isidro and nearby Corpac Av. block 2 that had pretty good hostesses but 0nly for two weeks. Seems to be that the owner couldn't afford the top hostesses for more days and had to replace them by other chicks not as good looking as the TOP ones. The business was not sustainable and suddenly closed down. Damn! Hope the one you mentioned will not get this trend in further....

A lady..................... a very expensive night..... first..... restaurant (they prefer chinesse food or chicken food).... then a disco.... they prefer Bierhaus in miraflores............ then.......... the most of times........ nothing happens..... 0nly a good friendship...........

Those chicas are available for play-play. One of the best looking chicas there quoted me a price of like 150 soles for an hour or two, I forget exactly. And I really was 0nly there fishing. It might be negotiable. This was during the day. I went back at night one time, wasn't very busy at all. Maybe 3-4 girls in the day, and 6-8 at night. Looks like it's set up as a strip bar, but I don't think that actually happens there.

Kinda strange. Coffee with legs is about right. Beer costs 10 soles, no cover charge.

Well, S/.150 per hr is not bad at all for the chick of the picture. If all those females working at the "Coffee & Legs" place are of the same sort I tell ya that these girls will make the hell of a side business after working hours. No doubt about it. I am curious. I will check it out....

The actual name is the "Benchly Arms" It is now owned by the ex-wife of Mike the owner of the "Old Pub" on Pizza street. A few years back it was known for its action and for that matter the "Old Pub" as well. Now they are basically drinking bars.

When I was last there the "Flying Dog" was the place the chicas came to hook up with Gringo's but I have heard from friends that has changed as well recently.

Alot of young gringo's are currently hanging at "Osa"sp? on Recarreven.
I have also heard "Bartini" on tuesday nights is very happening
